We were already helping provide for our grandchildren as much as we could before their dad went to jail, their mom went “off the rails” and the children had to be removed from their home. Now, having had to quit my job to care for them, has left us struggling financially even harder.
I was truly blown away at the Value Every Child event. It was so organized and everyone was so loving and encouraging. The minute they opened the doors to the toy room, I was so taken aback that it was all I could do not to break down in tears. A young woman stood there with me, speaking kind words of love and encouragement. My heart was overwhelmed.
What these little ones have been through and what they’ve been lacking in their lives because of their parents’ decisions, no child should have to go through or be saddled with. We have often been beside ourselves, unsure of how we were going to pay our bills and provide for the littles, let alone afford Christmas for them.
Children are never a burden, but that day, you all helped lighten our load. Having gifts for the “Littles” under the tree meant the world to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you.
May our Lord richly bless you for what you do every day to make things like that day happen.

There were five siblings and they were all under the age of four. One foster mom opened her home to ALL of them! She told her Isaiah 1:17 Project F3 Family Support Specialist, “They needed everything, but I knew I could tell the social worker, Yes, because I knew I could call on you to help us get what we needed and fast.”

Our current baby in foster care is returning to their primary family. Even as hard as that is, we are going to continue to foster because of The Isaiah 1:17 Project. Your support for us is so amazing as we care for our children in need. It all means the world to us.

He got on his bike and rode it around his family’s truck about three times and said, “Thank you.” He said, “ I get to take it home? He said, “ I am so excited I think I could ride it home.” When told he couldn’t ride it all that way; he said, “I’m just so excited I think I could ride it all the way home.”
