Family Care Connections brings churches together to care for children and families
Join a team of volunteers who support and serve families caring for children from vulnerable places!
Well-Supported Families Provide the Best Long-term Outcomes For Children
Children in foster care have unique needs and require intentional focus from their new parents. Supporting these families in practical, hands-on ways provides a healthier context for a child’s transition into their new home.
We believe every church can do something. This is why we believe in training churches to create and maintain volunteer-led Family Care Connections that provide a robust support system for foster, kinship, and adoptive families.
Family Care Connections support children and families impacted by foster care. Church teams and church partnerships work together to support and serve foster, adoptive, and kinship families.
Teams or partnering churches work together to provide regular and ongoing practical help such as:
- Providing meals
- Tutoring
- Childcare
- Prayer Teams
- Resources and Referrals
- Household Help
- Yard work, etc.
- Foster Parent Night Out
- Family Events
- Teen Connection
- Parent Connection
